Our In-house Services:

Find descriptions of our in-house services below. Always be sure to talk to Dr. Jaime or the team about whether these treatments are right for you.

Routine Cleanings

Routine cleanings are the foundation of a healthy smile. We perform an oral exam, remove any plaque or buildup from your teeth, and set up you for success in keeping the potential for cavities and disease at bay. Come visit us every six months as part of a comprehensive dental health routine.

Restorative Dentistry & Fillings

Our restorative services help repair or replace damaged or missing tooth structures to improve your overall oral health. Common restorative services we provide at Dane Dental include:

  • Fillings are a treatment for cavities where we remove the decayed portion of the tooth and fill the area with resin or amalgam. Fillings can also be used to repair broken, cracked, and worn teeth.

  • Crowns are tooth-colored or gold caps - or “crowns” - put on top of a damaged tooth to protect and restore its shape. Severe tooth decay that can’t be treated with a filling is best treated with a crown to cover the tooth. Additionally, crowns are used as a seal after root canal therapy to provide further protection for the weakened tooth. They can also be used cosmetically to improve the appearance of your smile.

  • Dental bridges are a permanent solution for missing teeth to restore the look and function of your smile. First, we join two crowns to an artificial tooth. The two crowns are then permanently cemented to the teeth surrounding the missing tooth. They act as a support to the artificial tooth and recreate the appearance of a natural smile.

  • Implants are surgically-implanted medical devices that restore your ability to chew or support crowns, bridges, and dentures. For more information on dental implants, click here.

Periodontics

Periodontics is the prevention and treatment of inflammatory disease affecting the gums and supporting structures. Gum disease happens when bacteria buildup in the mouth begins to affect the gum tissue. This usually presents as swollen and tender gums, blood when brushing your teeth, or discoloration of the gums. Our periodontal disease treatment plans help to remove calculus buildup, combat bacteria, and prevent the disease from spreading.
